About VEP Conversation Groups:

For all students and individuals on the tutor waiting list, come to a VEP conversation group and practice your English in a relaxed setting. Meet others who are learning English too.

The Volunteer English Program offers two conversation groups:

1) In collaboration with Tredyffrin Library, this group meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The location of the library is:

2) Thanks to the owner Kim Goldbecker and co-worker Sheila Frech, of the Three Little Pigs restaurant, this group meets once a month on the third Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The restaurant location is:

Tutors, encourage your students to attend. Better yet, bring them the first time or two until they are comfortable.

Tutors, Thank You for Your Progress Reports

Have you sent in a tutor-student progress report lately? If so, we thank you. If not, please take a few minutes to fill one out and send it to us via email or snail mail. Don’t like paperwork or email? Just pick up the phone and give us a verbal report. We would love to hear from you.

FEBRUARY 2007 TUTOR-TRAINING WORKSHOP

The next VEP Tutor Training Workshop will be held on February 5th (Monday), 8th (Thursday), and 12th (Monday), with the 15th (Thursday) for a snow date. Training will take place from 6-9 p.m. each day, at a location to be announced. Check back for further details!

If you know someone who is interested in the workshop, please let us know. We would be happy to send them a registration form. Participants can also register by phoning VEP at (610) 918-8222.

The workshop fee is $15.
