There are many Internet websites that help explain the English language to you, give you English quizzes, and have fun things to do. Come back to your VEP Student Zone to find out how to use them. Marilyn, VEP's instructor in the Computer Learning Center (CLC), invites you to visit her in the CLC anytime to receive help.
Lesson of the Week - Spelling and Pronunciation
If "b" comes before a "t", usually do not pronounce the b.
Examples words are: "debt", "doubt"
If "b" comes after an "m", never pronounce the b.
Examples words are: "thumb", "comb", "climb"In the Volunteer English Program's Computer Learning Center (CLC), you can learn more about speaking and writing in English and using the computer.
